Dues Policy

Dues must be paid by the 1st of each month. A $15 late fee will be charged if payment is received after the 7th of the month. You may pay your late fee online in conjunction with your class registration above. Late fee only applies to current members. Pay Fee

Etiquette

Do your best to arrive for class on time. If you are late please wait on the side of the mat until the instructor motions you on. If you are starting practice for the first time and have not yet registered, please arrive 15 minutes before the class begins. The instructor and the senior students are here to explain etiquette and to help you transition into being a member of the dojo.

Getting Ready

Loose fitting clothing (sweatpants and sweatshirt) is acceptable for beginning students. Clothing must cover elbows and knees. Traditional uniform (Gi) is expected after several months of practice. Gis are available at the SHC store.

Cancellations and Refunds

Refund Policy

• If you cancel up to two weeks before a program, refund or course credit is availalbe, minus a $15 handling fee for programs costing up to $200; $35 handling fee for programs costing over $200.
• If you cancel at least 48 hours before the program begins, course credit only wil be given, minus a $15 handling fee for programs costing up to $200; $35 handling fee for programs costing over $200. This credit is valid for one year.
• No refunds or course credit will be given if you cancel within 48 hours before a program begins.
• If you start an in-depth program and decide not to continue, no credit or refund will be given.
• Registration fees are non-refundable.

Registration

Please register as early as possible. Class size is limited in many of our programs. Full payment is required before the first session. In the event of a cancellation of a program, registrants will be notified.

Cancellations/Make-ups

Tenzan Aikido reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Registrants will be notified by phone 24 hours prior to the event. Full refunds will be issued by check or by credit to charge card.

There are no make-ups for classes missed in a workshop series. Missed classes do not carry over to the next session.

SHC Gift Certificates are valid only when presented.

Please be prepared to remove your shoes for classes and workshops.
